The great AIM-9X missile for land and sea targets

The fifth generation of air to air AIM-9X missile from raytheon that now is being used as a main short range missile by U.S will be developed so that it can be used to destroy land and sea targets. Raytheon state that AIM-9X won’t be used to subtitute another air to ground or air to sea missiles, but it will be used as an addition for pilot to destroy targets. Within the trial period the missile shot from F-16C USAF and succesfully sink the target ship in Mexico gulf. In the previous trial, F-15 also test this missile to hit the moving armored vehicle. During 2009, there were 29 test and all of them gave good results. There are 9 countries beside U.S that used AIM-9X missile, one of hte countries is Singapore. Singapore will use AIM-9X on their new F-15SG in their military training in Idaho. After it’s success on air to ground and air to sea trial test, AIM-9X will be test to destroy land to air targets, and underwater targets. And even it will be tested by launch it from submarines.
